Wind Turbines - Wind Turbine Technology
Authorized Reseller of Wind Turbines
Engineered Process Systems specializes in the sales and installation of wind turbines; the wind energy systems that generate electricity. EPS is an authorized reseller of wind turbines in the state of Ohio and surrounding regions including: Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana, West Virginia, and Michigan.
The smallest wind turbine unit EPS currently installs is the ReDriven 10kW wind turbine. Although this turbine is much larger than most residential wind turbines, we find its combination of price, power and compact size make it a great value for homeowners looking to get involved with wind energy.
The largest wind turbine unit EPS installs is the WES 250kW turbine. This is a large unit and is a great solution for large energy consumers. Water filtration plants, governmental or educational campuses are perfect applications for a 250kW wind turbine. Each of these wind turbine installations involves custom engineering the turbine for the customers' specific needs. 250kW wind turbines require far more lead time than our smaller units.
Although we are located in northeast Ohio, our wind turbine sales area extends far beyond the Ohio region. EPS can actually sell wind turbines throughout the country and assist you in your installation efforts. Installation of a wind turbine is less complicated than you might think, and there are financing plans available.

Wind Energy as Alternative Windmill Energy
As a provider and a proponent of alternative energy and energy management systems and solutions, Engineered Process Systems is also a supplier of windmills, wind turbines, and the alternative windmill energy that accompanies them.
Alternative energy, and windmill energy in particular, has gained the attention of many in recent years, and its benefits are many. At its most basic, wind, which is created by the differences in the heating rates and surfaces of the Earth, is essentially air in motion. When in motion, air possesses the energy of that motion known as "kinetic energy". Certain segments of this kinetic energy can be converted into electricity and other forms of mechanical force. It is at this point where wind turbines come into play for you as a consumer of electrical energy.
